I'm looking at a PC build with the following specs: Ryzen 7 9700x for $197.5, an RX 9700 16GB (non-XT) for $669, a 750W gold-certified MSI PSU for $99, an Asus A31 ATX case with 4 fans for $99, a Gigabyte B650 Gaming X V2 motherboard for $149.31, Corsair Vengeance RGB 32GB DDR5, CL36, 6000MHz RAM for $88, and a Be Quiet! Pure Rock 3 CPU cooler for $41.99. The total comes to $1458 including tax. I'm wondering if this is a good value and if there are any optimizations I could make. Just to note, I already have around 3.5TB of storage. My main uses will be rendering and game development in Unreal Engine, gaming, and 3D modeling, so I need something that can handle high VRAM and ray tracing.

It sounds like a solid build, but keep in mind that AMD GPUs can lag behind Nvidia for rendering tasks in software like Blender. Have you considered how critical rendering speed is for your work?
Yeah, that’s a good point! If rendering speed is a priority, you might want to look at Nvidia GPUs, even if they are pricier. They tend to handle rendering tasks much better.
