I came across a post a while ago where someone shared their experience teaching ChatGPT how to interact in a way that suits them better. Unfortunately, I didn't save it and now I'm really curious about how to do the same. Has anyone saved that post or something similar? If you've managed to successfully teach ChatGPT how to talk to you, I'd love to hear your best tips and tricks!

It really depends on what you want from the interaction. I instructed my ChatGPT not to follow up with questions after every response, unless it really needed to. I also asked it to be more concise and less chatty, and not to always agree with me. It mostly remembers my preferences, but every now and then I have to give it a little nudge.
You can actually set this up using custom instructions. Just ask ChatGPT directly about how to communicate with you! It's much easier than you might think.
Yeah, I thought it was complicated too, but really it’s just about guiding it with your preferences.
Just talk to it naturally! Engage in different topics and see how it adapts. It's surprisingly capable of picking up on your style over time.
If you're keen on a more detailed approach, try using prompts that ask ChatGPT to figure out your communication style. For example, you could tell it to ask questions about how you prefer it to talk to you regarding things like humor, tone, and even structure. Once you have those insights, save them for future chats!
Honestly, the best way is just to keep chatting. Be open and real with it. You might be surprised by how it responds!
That's a great approach! I think setting those boundaries really helps make the conversation flow better.
