I'm having a bit of trouble with my main monitor's audio. I remember there was a way to mute it because the speakers were way too loud for my room, but now I can't figure out how to unmute it. It's not showing up in the regular Windows audio settings, and I'm not sure where else to look. I've tried checking the monitor's settings and the advanced options show that the sound quality setting is greyed out, suggesting that it knows it's muted but doesn't say how or where it was muted. I'm worried that unplugging or resetting it won't help since this seems to be a manual change I made before. If anyone has tips on how to unmute it or a quick fix for my predicament, I would really appreciate it! ❤️

Also, make sure to check the monitor's onboard menu. Sometimes there's a dedicated audio section where you can unmute or adjust the volume directly from the monitor itself. It might not show up on Windows but could still be controlled via the monitor interface.
Sounds like you might have switched it off in the NVIDIA Control Panel. To check that, right-click on your desktop, select 'NVIDIA Control Panel', and look for the audio settings there. Maybe it’s muted in that section? A lot of times when monitors have issues like this, it’s due to those settings being overlooked. Let me know if that helps!
Thanks for the tip! I’ll check it out and see if that’s the issue.
Gotcha! I’ll give the monitor menu a look too. Thanks!
