I'm considering installing a Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE in my PC but want to gauge its performance before I dive in. Currently, I'm using an AXP90-X53 Full Copper cooler, and my CPU temps sit around 38-43 degrees during regular browsing. What kind of temperatures can I expect the 120 SE to achieve under similar workload conditions?

I have a 14600k, and my idle temps were around 32 degrees while hitting 50 degrees under load. My peak was only 62C, which I think are pretty solid temps! Just keep in mind that case airflow plays a massive role too.
Honestly, if your temps are already clocking in at 38-43 degrees during light usage, you're doing great! There's no pressing need for an upgrade unless you're aiming for ultra-low temps. What’s pushing you to want to swap coolers?
I highly recommend providing your CPU model for a more tailored response, but generally speaking, if you're running an overclocked 12600k, I hit a max of 70 degrees while running Cinebench R23. So, it might really depend on your setup!
Just trying to keep the room cooler overall. Both coolers were priced similarly, so why not?
