How does this first gaming PC build look before I buy the parts?

I'm putting together my first PC and would like some feedback before purchasing everything. The planned build is a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, an ASRock RX 9070 XT, a Gigabyte X870 Gaming WiFi 6 motherboard, 32GB of G.Skill Flare X5 DDR5-6000 memory, a 2TB Samsung 990 Pro SSD, a Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 cooler, an NZXT H7 case, and a Corsair RM850e power supply. I'll be buying the parts in the United States, so I'm also interested in whether there are better-value alternatives or worthwhile upgrades.

The build looks solid, but the value depends heavily on the prices you’re seeing. The Samsung 990 Pro is often priced higher than competing SSDs that perform just as well for gaming, so it’s worth comparing other 2TB PCIe 4.0 drives before buying.

I’ll be buying the parts during a trip to the United States, so I’m hoping the prices there will give me more options.

The parts are already strong, but if you’re comfortable buying certain components used, you might be able to move up to a Ryzen 7 9800X3D and find a used RX 9070 XT for a similar overall cost. For a gaming-focused system, a 750W power supply should also be enough unless you want extra headroom for future upgrades. The Samsung 990 EVO Plus could save money too; the 990 Pro is mainly worth the premium for heavier professional workloads rather than typical gaming.

That’s an extremely high-end first build. It should handle modern games very well, but definitely compare prices before committing so you’re not overspending on parts that won’t noticeably improve gaming performance.
