I'm curious if anyone here has experience with the Cost Management Power BI app designed for Enterprise Agreements. How useful do you find it? Is it regularly updated by Microsoft? Also, what access level do users need to connect the app to Azure? I'd appreciate any insights or experiences you can share!

From what I've seen, the app is decent for getting a high-level view of costs. However, I found it lacking in detail since the one I tried was no longer actively supported, so I had to create my own custom reports using its dataset to get more relevant information for my team. If you're looking for something more detailed, definitely check out the FinOps model and its tools on Azure. It’s still in development, but the pre-built FinOps hub might be a good option if you’re okay with spending more on Azure.
