I'm having some serious cooling issues with my PC. I have an Intel Core i7-6700k running at 4.00 GHz with 4 cores, and I've been monitoring temperatures with HWMonitor. Unfortunately, it frequently hits 100°C and occasionally dips down into the 90s. I was thinking about running it at this temperature for an hour and then giving it a 30-minute cool-down. Is that safe, or will it cause permanent damage to the CPU? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like you're really pushing your CPU to its limits! It’s not safe to run that hot for long periods. If your cooler is inadequate, it may be time for a replacement or at least trying to improve airflow in your case. An external fan could help, and maybe consider undervolting your CPU to reduce heat. Better cooling can make a big difference!
Exactly! Also, have you checked if your CPU cooler is working properly? Sometimes, just replacing thermal paste can help a lot—it’s cheap and simple.
