How long does it usually take to change an iPhone battery?

My iPhone 13 completely died and won't even turn on while charging. My dad is taking it to an Apple Store on Tuesday, but I'm worried about locking my bank apps and other sensitive info since I can't access my phone right now. I'm curious if the battery change is a quick process. Do I need to leave my phone there for a while, or can I expect it to be done the same day? Also, since I have college and work, I won't be able to go with him. Any advice?

Have you tried using another charger? Usually, the actual battery replacement time is about 1 to 1.5 hours. If you're in a hurry, you should book an appointment, just to ensure they have the battery in stock.

I did try my cousin's charger, and it worked for a bit, but I still need a new battery because it dies within minutes of charging. I'm starting to think I might need a new charger too!

Typically, the battery replacement can be done on the same day, but they’ll let your dad know if it will take longer. It's always best to check with them first!
