I have an ATX motherboard and I've installed standoffs in the top left, top middle, second middle, and bottom left positions. Is this setup sufficient, or should I remove everything and install more standoffs?

If possible, it's best to use all the correct standoffs for your board. Having them helps with grounding and stability, even though the board can technically function without them all.
Just make sure that you're not installing standoffs where they shouldn't be, as they can touch the back of the motherboard and create a short circuit. Trust me, I learned that the hard way!
There's really no reason not to fill all the standoff slots. It just ensures everything is properly supported.
