I'm curious about how crucial the 0db silent mode feature is to you when choosing a GPU. This option allows the fans to completely shut off at low temperatures, which means no noise from the GPU fans at all. Personally, I know I would really appreciate this feature when I eventually upgrade my GPU. What do you all think?

Not a big deal for me. I usually replace the stock fans with Noctua fans for better cooling and less noise. The NF-A12x25 fans are quiet until they hit above 1000 RPM, so even when my card is idling around 300 RPM, it’s good enough.
I think silent operation isn't really possible for most setups, so it doesn't matter for me, lol. But sure, with the right software, you can set fans to 0 RPM if you want. My RTX 3060 doesn't support that, but I can make my rig pretty quiet when doing light tasks.
Honestly, I don't think it's very important at all. The fans are usually running at such a low RPM that you can't really hear them anyway.
To be honest, I've never really thought about it before. It hasn't been a deciding factor for me.
LOL, I won't be using my PC in complete silence anyway. I don't sleep next to it, so it's not a big deal. I have a GPU with silent mode, and it’s pretty useless for me. Sometimes it doesn't even turn off, and I’ve had to crank the fans up manually when it hits 87 degrees!
