How much should I charge for a multi-feature event website?

I'm working on a project to create a website for an events page, and I need some advice on how much to charge. The client wants several features, including a contact form, showcases, event descriptions, pricing information, activity displays, Google Maps integration, and translations in over three languages. I believe I can design a beautiful single-page layout that incorporates smooth animations, responsive design, and mobile compatibility. I'm also thinking about providing a free guide for them to update images and descriptions on their own. Any advice on what to charge for this project?

Keep in mind that pricing can vary significantly based on your location. For instance, charging in the US will likely be different than in Ukraine or Germany. For a project like this, if you can streamline the contact form to just collect emails directly to a database for admin review, it can really simplify the process. Given the features you listed, a rate of $1,000 to $2,000 seems reasonable if you're considering non-US pricing.

I think you could also consider charging around $15,000, but that's a significant jump. Charging that much for just 2-3 days of work seems unrealistic unless you have a really strong reputation or base to back it up. Even established companies might hesitate to pay that amount for relatively straightforward tasks!

Wait, are you really suggesting $15k? That's quite a lot for what seems like a basic website!

Yeah, that amount is a bit excessive for this kind of project, even for experienced teams.

Honestly, you might want to consult someone from the finance department for the best pricing strategy for your area.
