How Much Storage Should I Buy for My New Gaming PC?

I recently got a gaming PC, but I haven't set it up yet. It currently has a total of 600GB from both SSD and HDD storage. I'm considering whether I should purchase 1TB or 2TB of additional storage. The 1TB drive is priced at 639 Norwegian Kroners, while the 2TB option costs 1299 Kroners. What do you think?

How many games do you usually play? Knowing that might help decide if you really need the extra capacity or if 1TB will be enough for now.

Consider what you're storing! If it's mainly cold storage like documents and movies, a larger HDD at a lower price would work. But if you need active storage for games, I suggest getting a 1TB or 2TB SSD. They might be a bit more, but they're reliable and fast.

It seems a bit low for 2025 to have only 600GB total. You'll likely want more storage if you're planning to play modern games.

I just grabbed a huge 20TB drive for about $220! But you probably meant 2TB, right? That would be a solid choice for gaming, especially with large titles these days.
