I'm currently running an RTX 4060 with my Intel 12400F CPU and I'm wondering how much of a bottleneck I can expect when I upgrade to an RTX 5070. I don't really want to change my CPU, but I'm concerned about performance. Would I be better off going for an RTX 5060 Ti with 16GB instead? For some context, my motherboard is an MSI B760-M-P DDR4.

Honestly, if you're at 1440p, you shouldn't worry at all about bottlenecks. The combo you're looking at should work just fine for mainstream gaming. Just look at benchmarks for the specific games you play to see how well everything matches up.
I don't think your CPU will be a problem for the RTX 5070. It's a middle-tier GPU, and the 12400F was pretty solid a few years ago. Just don't overthink it too much; focus more on the games you're playing. If they are GPU-heavy, you'll be fine with the 5070.
And remember, if you're playing something like Cyberpunk 2077, the GPU will be doing all the heavy lifting!
A lot of people stress too much about bottlenecks. If you're playing at 1440p or 4K, you likely won't see any significant issues. Bottlenecks typically show up at 1080p or lower, where the CPU can start to hold back the GPU more noticeably.
Exactly! Even then, the bottleneck might be there in theory, but in practice, you probably won't even notice it.
Yeah, I'd recommend checking the specific performance in the games you're interested in, especially if they're more CPU intensive.
