How Much Will FPS Drop with a Triple Monitor Setup on a 7800 XT?

Hey everyone! I'm currently using a dual monitor setup and getting around 150-160 FPS on average. I'm thinking about upgrading to a triple monitor setup, but I'm curious—how much will my FPS likely drop with three 2K monitors? I couldn't find any test videos to help me out. Has anyone experienced this with the same graphics card?

From what I've seen, the FPS drop could be around 5% when you have all three monitors running. There’s a good video that discusses this—check it out [here](https://youtu.be/5wBxYQdN96s?si=FykEEGWkJcogkEvE). It’s important to note that just connecting the monitors doesn’t hurt your FPS unless you're actively using the extra screens for gaming or resource-heavy tasks.

Yeah, definitely watch the whole video! They explain that it’s the GPU-intensive tasks on the extra monitors that can impact performance, not just having them connected.

It's likely that your framerate will drop a bit when you add more monitors, but if you're just using them for regular desktop tasks and not running heavy videos or games on all screens, the loss should be minimal—like just a few FPS. Most folks probably won't even notice it.
