I recently bought a Samsung S90D TV and I'm trying to figure out how to get 120Hz at 4K while using it with my PC that has a 4070 Ti graphics card. Currently, I can only get either 4K at 60Hz or 2K at 120Hz, and the shortest cable I have is 4 feet long. Going shorter would make it hard to hide the cable or rotate the TV. Besides the cable length, what other factors should I consider to get the desired performance? Thanks!

If the cable is good, turn on the gaming mode on your TV first. On my S95B, I found that if I didn’t enable gaming mode, the 120Hz option wouldn’t show up in the Nvidia control panel. After that, select your resolution from the PC section—not the Ultra HD option—there should be a 120Hz choice available there.
Make sure you have an HDMI 2.1 cable. You might also want to tweak the color settings on your PC—switching from ycbcr 444 to ycbcr 422 or RGB could help you reach higher refresh rates and resolutions. But honestly, getting the right cable is the safest bet without compromising on quality.
You'll definitely need a proper "Ultra High Speed HDMI Cable" to achieve 120Hz at 4K. Make sure your current cable supports it!
Yeah, I've checked Amazon, and all the cables claim to be the right type, but I want to be sure it's legit.
