I'm assisting my partner with installing Linux on their ASUS Zenbook A14 UX3407QA. When I try to access the BIOS by pressing F2 during boot, I can't find any option to boot from a USB drive. The BIOS interface looks different from what I've seen in guides for other ASUS laptops. I previously created the bootable USB on my own laptop, and it worked fine there. Could the issue be because I'm using a different laptop? Do I need to create the boot media using his laptop instead?

Highlight the first boot option using the down arrow key, then hit Enter. This should let you select your USB drive from the available boot options.
To access the UEFI boot menu, try holding down the "Escape" key while booting up. That's how I was able to do it on my laptop, and it might help you out too!
When I disabled Secure Boot, I ended up stuck in a 'BitLocker recovery' loop. Just be cautious with that setting!
On many PCs, tapping F12 right after powering on should show you boot choices. Keep in mind this is different from changing boot priorities in the BIOS. If that USB flashed a "Start Linux..." menu on another laptop, it seems to be bootable. Make sure to disable Secure Boot in the BIOS as well, as it can prevent Linux from installing.
Are you trying to use Legacy or UEFI boot options? This can make a difference in how to access the USB boot option. If you're seeing a modern BIOS interface, it's probably set to UEFI.
