How to Check RAM Compatibility for My Computer?

Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my RAM and I'm not sure if the new one I found is compatible with my system. Here's what I currently have: it's a 4GB stick that says "4gb 1Rx 16 PC4 - 2933Y - UCO - 11". I want to get a 32GB DDR4 stick with specifications "32gb DDR4 - 3200 UDIMM 1.2V CL22". I know DDR4 is the right type, but I could use some guidance on compatibility. If you need more details about my computer, let me know! Thanks a bunch!

If possible, can you post a photo of your RAM stick on Imgur and share the link? It would help to see what you've got!

Is your computer a laptop or a desktop? The current RAM suggests it could be SO-DIMM, which is generally for laptops, but if it’s a desktop, you might need standard DIMM.

It's a desktop.

First off, what's your CPU? Your current RAM stick may be server-grade, which could affect compatibility. Let me know and we can sort this out!

Um, where do I find that?

Make sure to list your CPU and motherboard model numbers too. That info is key for figuring this out!

Is that the really long number starting with M?
