I'm looking for advice on commissioning the Eaton 9155 UPS. We've installed various UPS systems without official commissioning before and never faced issues, even with many Powerware 9170s. Recently, I commissioned a 9155 this summer without any technical problems. Our electricians followed the schematics, verified the connections and voltages, and powered everything up without a hitch. The biggest challenge seems to be with configuring the network card. However, I call different Eaton support numbers and keep getting the run-around. I can't run a battery test or enable the output; the unit powers on, and I can access the settings, but it won't operate on battery. The service option for a 'battery commissioning test' has me puzzled. If it turns out I need a technician to come out just to toggle a setting, I may have to reconsider my loyalty to Eaton over other brands.

Have you tried reaching out to your distributor or the place where you bought it? They might have a tech you can consult.
This might not be a perfect fit but check out this video: https://youtu.be/yb46IsCxbfw. It could give you some insights!
I had a similar issue with an Eaton 9PX 11000. The electricians followed the drawings, and while we could power it on and see the batteries, there wasn't any output. We discovered a 208v/240v selector at the back and flipping it resolved everything for us.
Thanks for the tip! I've triple-checked and don’t see anything like that for the 9155, but I appreciate it. I've been caught out by similar things before.

Haha that idea led me to fill out a form to schedule an Eaton tech for a startup service...
