I'm having serious issues with my Windows 11 computer and I just want to wipe everything and start fresh, like it's brand new. Whenever I try to restore it, I get an error message and the computer shuts down after making weird noises. The 'fix without restoring' option was useless, and now I can't even install apps properly because it seems like half the stuff I need is missing. Honestly, I feel completely lost with this and I'm not very tech-savvy. Could there be a virus involved, or is there an easy way to restore my PC to factory settings?

If you're looking to wipe everything and start fresh, you can use the Windows installer. When you get the installer running, hit "Shift+F10" to bring up the command prompt. Type "diskpart" and hit enter, then type "list disk" to see your drives. After that, select the drive you want to erase with "select disk X" (replace X with the disk number), and type "clean". This will remove everything from that drive, like it's brand new. You may have to do this for all your disks. If you need to reinstall Windows afterward, make sure you have a USB drive ready with the Windows installation files!
Just a heads-up, messing with those settings can delete everything on your system. Make sure you back up any important stuff first!
