Hey everyone! I recently purchased a DeepCool AK620 display fan, and I'm having trouble connecting it to my motherboard (H610m s2h). The fan has a 3-pin 5V connector for the display, but I can't find a corresponding port on my motherboard. If I use an adapter to connect the 3-pin from the fan, will the display work as intended (like showing CPU temperature), or does it need to be directly connected to the motherboard? I've noticed that one of the pins is for data, and the adapters I've seen only connect to the PSU. I also have a USB cable from the fan connected to the motherboard—does that cable handle the data? Thanks for your help! Sorry if this question sounds silly.

The display won’t work with an ARGB connector since that’s just for the lighting. You’ll want to connect the display cable to a USB 2.0 header on your motherboard for it to function properly. Make sure to check if you have that header available!

Got it, so the ARGB is just for effects. I’ll look for a USB connection then, thanks!
