How to Connect My Xbox Controller to PC?

I'm really struggling to connect my Xbox controller to my PC. I first tried using an Xbox One controller, but it wouldn't work. I read that some of those controllers don't support Bluetooth pairing, so I bought a Series X controller, which is supposed to have Bluetooth. I put it in pairing mode, but it just won't show up on my PC. Interestingly, it connects fine to my phone. I've updated all my Bluetooth drivers and tried various methods to connect, including the 'everything else' option on my PC and long-pressing the pairing button on the controller. But nothing seems to work. I'm at my wit's end here!

You might want to check the Bluetooth settings on your PC. Sometimes, the controller might not show up if your PC is already connected to other Bluetooth devices. Try disconnecting other devices temporarily and then see if your controller appears. Also, keep your controller close to the PC, since distance can sometimes affect the connection.

Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely try that out and see if I can get it to connect.

I've had similar issues with my Xbox controllers connecting via Bluetooth. They can be a bit finicky, so I ended up buying the official Xbox wireless adapter, and it works like a charm. If you're planning on using the controller for extended gaming, it might be worth the investment!
