How to Connect Standard Case Fans in Phanteks Eclipse G400A?

I'm trying to connect the standard case fans in my Phanteks Eclipse G400A to the motherboard. The fans were pre-installed and appear to be daisy-chained in some way, which is a bit confusing. I understand that the setup should be straightforward by just connecting two cables to the motherboard (one to Sys_fan and the other to ARGB). However, I'm puzzled about an additional cable coming from the bottom of the front case fans. I wonder if I'm supposed to connect it to something or if it's for a hub or controller. Can I leave it unconnected, and is it safe to do so?

That cable you're seeing is likely a proprietary connector used to chain the fans together. If all your fans are already connected and you have the cables going to the motherboard, you can just leave that extra connector alone. It's not needed unless you plan on adding more fans to the setup.
