Hi everyone! I'm looking for some guidance on reaching out to Spamhaus. Our domain recently ended up on their DBL list, and it's been quite the headache. We don't send marketing or mass emails, so we thought maybe our hosting provider had a sketchy IP address. After switching hosting providers, we still faced issues, with over half of our emails being rejected. I contacted Spamhaus to let them know we updated our setup since we changed DNS to Cloudflare and updated our A records. However, they responded with a rather snarky comment about my 'inability to find the problem' and closed the ticket before I could share my side. Am I overreacting? I'm just trying to sort out this mess and it feels incredibly frustrating. Any advice on contacting them or fixing things would be appreciated!

Getting responses from Spamhaus can be a challenge, and from my experience, it sounds pretty typical. They can be pretty harsh in their communications, though many have found that sometimes it’s just a matter of time. After our IP was listed once, it took a couple of delisting requests, but it eventually worked out. Make sure you have all your authentication in place, like SPF, DKIM, and DMARC. Those help build your reputation and might prevent getting listed again. You might want to check out third-party guides for troubleshooting Spamhaus issues, as they can really help pinpoint the root cause of the listing.
Lol, that’s a classic response from them! I mean, sometimes their tone doesn’t help. Don't let it get to you too much; it seems like you're on the right track with your fixes.
