I recently discovered that my computer had three Trojan viruses detected by Malwarebytes. After quarantining and deleting them, I've flushed my DNS, but I'm worried about how to prevent them from returning and if I might get them back from other sources. I did visit some sketchy websites and downloaded files, so I recognize that was a risky move. The names of the viruses I found are Trojan.PyengyLoader and Trojan.FakeGoogleJS. On top of that, my Microsoft account has been hacked. I'm hesitant to reset everything because I'm concerned it might affect my Windows 11 setup and force me to pay again for my Microsoft package.

First off, if you want to be really safe, disconnect your computer from the internet immediately. After that, make sure you change all your passwords from another device that's clean. The best move is to wipe all partitions on your infected device and do a complete OS reinstall. Just resetting your PC might not be enough to get rid of everything, so a full wipe is the way to go. It's a hassle, but it'll be safer in the long run!

But won't that wipe out all my files and data?
