I recently swapped out my old Ryzen 2400G for a 5700X in my older motherboard, and after updating the BIOS, I replaced the motherboard with a newer one. Now, I want to reinstall the Ryzen 2400G in my old motherboard, but the BIOS version currently installed only supports the 5700X. What BIOS version should I downgrade to in order to get the Ryzen 2400G recognized? My motherboard model is B450M-HDV R4.0.

For the Ryzen 2400G, the latest BIOS that supports it seems to be version 3.10. I'd recommend updating the AMD all-in-one display driver before you swap CPUs to avoid any issues. Just to be safe!
Not necessarily! You still need to downgrade to the correct BIOS version since the latest updates might not support the 2400G anymore.
According to the Asrock CPU compatibility list, it should technically work with all BIOS versions. However, it’s possible your motherboard might have been damaged during the CPU change, or the 2400G could be faulty. Just make sure to check the BIOS version compatibility closely!
Good point! Just be careful while downgrading. Make sure you have a backup of your current BIOS in case anything goes wrong.
It’s probably the BIOS version, though. I looked it up, and 3.10 is the last version that supports Raven Ridge CPUs like the 2400G. You should try downgrading to that if you can.
Have you actually tried booting the 2400G in the motherboard? It might not be booting because the BIOS is set for the 5700X. Try flashing back to an earlier version, but make sure you know which one to use first.
Yes, I tried booting it, but it just won’t recognize the 2400G. It seems like I really need to change the BIOS version to something that supports it.
I see on the Asrock page it says 'All' for compatibility. Does that mean it should work with any BIOS version, including the original one?
