How to Find an Exe File That Malwarebytes Keeps Blocking?

I keep getting alerts from Malwarebytes blocking an outgoing connection from an unknown executable, but I can't seem to locate the file anywhere on my computer. I've run scans with Malwarebytes, Windows Defender, and ESET, but none have turned up anything suspicious. Is there anything else I can try before considering a full reset of my PC?

What's the name of the executable that Malwarebytes is blocking? Knowing the specific file might help in tracking it down.

The file is called kxetray.exe.

When you say you can't find the exe, are you able to see the folder mentioned in the Malwarebytes alert? If you're already looking in the right spot but still can't find it, that sounds suspicious!

If you haven't already, make sure to uncheck the hidden files option in your folder settings and look again. Sometimes, malicious files can be hidden from view.
