I recently got a laptop from a family member who factory reset it, but now all the user and app files are gone. There's no browser, no Windows Store, and even the search bar isn't functioning properly. I've read that I could use the 'wsreset' command, but when I try to run it, I get a message saying I need a new app to open this ms-windows-store link. I'm not very tech-savvy, and I'm currently in an area where USB sticks and tech shops are hard to come by. Can anyone offer some advice on how to get this laptop working again?

Honestly, the best solution might be to just wipe it clean and do a fresh Windows install. Create a Windows install USB if you can find one, and just start over. It sounds like you're starting from scratch anyway, so it could save you a lot of headaches in the long run!

Yeah, I think you're right. I guess I'll just have to reinstall Windows completely and wait it out.
