I just installed a Radeon RX 580 GPU, and now I'm getting static from my headphones. I want to know how to fix this issue. What steps should I take to eliminate the static noise?

Honestly, if you're dealing with persistent interference, consider investing in a cheap DAC like the Conexant CX31993. I find that audio cables often pick up interference when they’re routed near other components, especially through front ports. A DAC can help clean up that static pretty effectively.

That’s a solid suggestion! I fixed my static just by moving my headphones to the rear port, but a DAC sounds like a good long-term solution.

First, can you tell me what kind of headphones you’re using? Are they plugged into the USB or the 3.5mm audio jack on your motherboard? If you're using the front port, try switching to the rear port; that might help reduce the static. I had a similar issue and found that connecting my headphones in the back worked wonders!

I had the same problem with my setup! Plugging into the back of the PC solved it for me, no more annoying static.

Glad I’m not alone! I used to connect mine through the top, but a simple switch to the back port made a huge difference.
