I'm in the process of building a new PC, but I'm facing a frustrating problem—there's no signal or image on the screen. I recently moved my setup from a small case to a larger one, and now when I turn on the power, everything lights up, but I can't get any display. My components include an i7 6770k processor and an HP 2b4b motherboard. I've connected the HDMI cable, but there's still nothing showing up. I haven't yet installed my graphics card (RTX) since I'm still in the assembly phase. Any ideas on how to resolve this?

Just to add, if you don't have the manual, clearing the CMOS usually involves locating a button labeled 'CLR CMOS' or similar on the motherboard. If it’s not there, you can remove the battery on the motherboard for a few minutes and then put it back to reset the settings.
First off, try clearing the CMOS on your motherboard. This often resolves signal issues by resetting settings to factory defaults. You can usually do this by looking for a small button or jumper on the motherboard. Just make sure to check the manual if you have one, or find an online version for your HP model!

Good question! It's typically located near the battery, or you might find it alongside the RAM slots. Look for a small reset button or a group of pins with a jumper wire that you might need to move temporarily. It can help to look for tutorials online specific to your motherboard model.
