How to Fix No Signal Issue When Connecting HTPC to TV via DisplayPort?

I recently set up a fresh Windows 11 installation for my home theater PC (HTPC) and connected it to my TV using a DisplayPort to HDMI cable. I'm encountering a frustrating 'No Signal' issue where the TV sometimes fails to recognize the PC, even when it's powered on. This problem doesn't occur while I'm actively watching media, but it does go into standby if I switch to a different TV input for a while. I've already changed the power settings on my PC to prevent sleep or hibernation and adjusted some advanced settings for PCI Express, but the issue persists. Interestingly, I've never had this problem with my Raspberry Pi or Roku. Does anyone have suggestions on how to resolve this?

You might want to check your BIOS settings or disk setup before making changes, just to avoid potential data loss. It's always a good idea to back up your data first. Also, there’s a comprehensive troubleshooting guide here that could help: rtech.support/guides/no-image-troubleshooting/

Have you tried just tightening the connection? Sometimes even a slight loose connection can cause issues. If it seems secure, maybe try another cable to rule that out.

The connection is actually solid, and I can't tighten it anymore since it’s already secure.
