I'm using a headless laptop as a HTPC with Nobara, but I'm having a tough time because my TV is really old and has a serious overscan problem. I've been through the settings multiple times and nothing works to fix it. The zoom button isn't helpful either—it just cuts off parts of the signal. I've noticed that when I play around with the aspect ratio, it still gets cut off on the edges. I found a workaround on Windows using the Intel control panel by adjusting the display size without changing the resolution, but Nobara doesn't seem to have a similar option, and I'm feeling completely stuck. Any advice?

Running Nobara on non-Steam Deck hardware can be tricky. Have you checked if your TV has any accessible monitor settings? Sometimes there might be an option to adjust the overscan directly on older TVs, but it's definitely worth looking into. If those settings are not available, you might want to consider using a different operating system or lightweight Linux distro that's more compatible with your setup.
It sounds super frustrating, especially with an old TV! If adjusting the aspect ratio isn’t helping, you might want to explore the display settings in Nobara or check if there's a driver update for your graphics. Some older TVs might have a hidden overscan setting—it's worth doing a little research on your TV model. Good luck!
Really? What would be a better choice? I've been so used to this setup.
And unfortunately, there's no monitor settings I can access.
