I recently installed Fedora 42 after trying out Linux Mint, and in the process, I ended up wiping my disks clean. Now, I want to go back to Windows, either version 10 or 11, and restore my laptop to its original factory state. I'm using an Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55 with a 512GB SSD and 16GB of RAM. Unfortunately, I'm facing an issue where the Windows installation can't find any disks or drives to install on. I've shared a link to an imgur post showing the errors I'm encountering and what my partition manager looks like in Linux. I'd really appreciate any help! Also, I forgot to mention that I'm trying to install Windows from an ISO on a USB stick.

It sounds like the main issue is that since you wiped your SSD, there’s no Windows installation to revert to. When you try to install Windows now, it might not recognize the drive properly. One common workaround is to create the Windows Installer USB using the official Microsoft Media Creation Tool instead of any third-party options. Also, when you’re in the installer, try deleting all the partitions on the drive so it’s fully unallocated; this allows Windows to auto-partition it during installation. That should help!
Yeah, I had a similar issue before! Definitely go for the official tool; it makes a big difference. And if Windows is asking for drivers, it’s a known installer problem. From what I've read, reinstalling the USB with the official tool fixes it.
