How to Format a 64GB SD Card to FAT32 for 3DS XL

I'm having trouble formatting my 64GB SDXC card to FAT32 for my 3DS XL. I want to mod my device, but even when using tools like GUI or Rufus, I can only see options for exFAT and NTFS in the file system dropdown. I've confirmed that SDXC cards are compatible with 3DS, so I'm looking for a workaround to get this formatted properly. Any advice would be appreciated!

You might want to try using EaseUS Partition Master or MiniTool Partition to get that FAT32 format.

Just a heads up, Windows generally only offers FAT32 for partitions up to 32GB. If you're using Rufus, try switching it to non-bootable mode; that might give you the Large FAT32 option.

I’ve already tried that, but it still won’t let me format it to FAT32—only exFAT and NTFS show up as options.
