Hey everyone! I recently graduated with an engineering degree and started off as a software support engineer. My role mainly involved handling Jira tasks and doing some basic SQL operations, but I've been really unsatisfied with it. So, I've been studying Linux because I want to become a sysadmin or maybe even step into a DevOps role. I've completed a bootcamp and earned my RHCSA certification, and I'm working towards my RHCE. However, I'm struggling to find a sysadmin role because it seems like employers prioritize experience over certifications in my area. I'm stuck in a loop—how do I gain experience to get a job when I can't get a junior position? Also, are there any part-time freelance opportunities available just to get something on my CV?
