How to Keep My Room Cool While Gaming on My PC?

I'm dealing with a situation where my big Acer gaming PC raises the temperature in my room significantly after about 30 minutes of gaming. My air conditioning isn't really doing the trick since the thermostat is in a different room. In winter I could just crack open a window, but with summer heating things up, that's not an option anymore. I'm considering a standalone AC unit that I could vent out my door since my window can't accommodate any standard units. I'd love to hear what you all think and if you have any alternative solutions.

Using a box fan can really help with circulating the air in and out of your room. Also, look into improving your PC’s cooling efficiency! Venting an AC unit out the door might not work great. Do your windows not open at all? There are portable units that come with hoses which can fit in windows that open a bit, so maybe check that out!

I might try a box fan, but I usually keep the door shut. Also, my PC needs to run at max performance for more than just gaming. I'm actually considering a custom exhaust attachment for the AC that could fit under my door, but I'm not sure how practical that would be. My window setup is tricky too.

The most effective solution is to decentralize the heat. If you can't effectively vent the heat out of the room, consider moving the PC elsewhere. Maybe to another room, if that's an option for you. It would make a huge difference in temperature!
