How to Keep the Cursor Active on One Monitor While Using Another?

I work on a Windows 11 computer with three monitors and two mice, but I can't install any software. I usually dictate in Excel on one screen, but whenever I click around on my other monitor, the dictation stops because the cursor leaves the dictation area. Is there any way to keep the cursor active on the screen where I'm dictating while I interact with another screen?

My guess is the dictation needs to know where to type, so if the cursor isn't in the Excel dictation area, it'll stop. There might not be a way around this limitation in Windows.

Are you sure the dictation stops only when you click on a different monitor? It might be that it stops whenever the focus shifts away from Excel, which could be how it’s set up. Just a thought!

Unfortunately, the cursor becomes active wherever you click, so when you use the other monitor, that app takes the focus. And what's the deal with having two mice? Are you trying to find a workaround for this?
