I've been trying to find my BitLocker recovery key but haven't had any luck searching through my emails. Just a heads up, if you can't find it in your emails, it's likely saved in your Microsoft account. But make sure that's the primary account used on this PC.
You might want to check your Microsoft account at myaccount.microsoft.com and look for the device list. Your BitLocker keys should be there if you logged in with the right account when you set it up.
Are you sure you were running the command prompt as an administrator? Sometimes that can cause issues with certain commands. Try running it as admin and see if you still get the error.
