How to Manage High CPU Temperatures After Upgrading?

I recently upgraded my CPU from a Ryzen 5 5600G to a Ryzen 7 5700X, using an A520M KV2 motherboard. I'm currently utilizing the stock AMD cooler, but I'm noticing that the CPU temperatures are quite high—around 60 to 70 degrees Celsius while just on the desktop, and it spikes to 80 degrees during gaming sessions, whether I'm playing heavy games like Forza or lighter ones like Hollow Knight. Is this temperature range concerning, or is there something I can do to lower it?

Honestly, if you want better temperatures, getting a dedicated CPU cooler is a solid move. The stock one is pretty limited. Also, make sure your case has good airflow. More powerful coolers can really make a difference during gaming.

I just bought the Rise Mode G800 Air Cooler to improve the situation. Hoping for significantly better temps soon!

It sounds like you're using the stock cooler, which isn’t the most efficient option. Those temps are a bit high, but not alarming unless they hit around 90°C during gaming. You might want to consider upgrading to a better CPU cooler for improved thermal performance.
