My Server 2022 keeps losing time and ends up out of sync by several minutes every month or two. Is there a way to stop it from falling out of sync with the other computers on my domain? I'd like to know if I can manage the time settings better or avoid syncing to these other machines entirely.

Is your server running as a virtual machine or a domain controller? That can affect how you should approach the time synchronization. If it’s a domain controller, take extra care with your settings.
It’s totally fine to sync your server with other computers as long as the server’s time is accurate. A good approach is to have your server sync with a reliable public NTP server. There’s a lot of documentation out there that can guide you through the setup process easily!
Check out this guide: [Configuring the PDC with an authoritative time source](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/services-hub/unified/health/remediation-steps-ad/configure-the-root-pdc-with-an-authoritative-time-source-and-avoid-widespread-time-skew). You’ll want to set the peerlist correctly using the command line on your domain controller with the PDCe FSMO role. Use something like `w32tm.exe /config /syncfromflags:manual /manualpeerlist:131.107.13.100,0x8 /reliable:yes /update` followed by `w32tm.exe /config /update`. This should help stabilize your sync.
If your server is a domain controller, you definitely shouldn’t sync it with its host directly. It's important to keep the hierarchy correct for time sync in a domain to prevent issues. Make sure the host is syncing with a public NTP server instead.
