How to Recover a Deleted Camera Driver on My HP ENVY x360?

I accidentally deleted the camera driver on my HP ENVY x360 13.3 inch 2-in-1 Laptop (model 13-bf0000). It was acting up, so I followed some advice to delete the driver, thinking it would reinstall automatically after a restart, but now it's completely gone. I'm running Windows 11. Is there a way to get the driver back, or should I just send it for repair?

Have you checked the manufacturer’s support site? They usually have drivers available for download which could help you restore the camera functionality.

I found a direct link to the driver page for your laptop here: [HP Support](https://support.hp.com/au-en/drivers/hp-envy-x360-13.3-inch-2-in-1-laptop-pc-13-bf0000/2101086021). Just make sure to pick the right files, especially since there might not be a specific one just for the camera! If that’s not clear, feel free to ask for more help.

I get your frustration! Sometimes it can be tricky figuring out which files to download. If you want, you can post back here with what you see on the driver page, and I can help you decide which ones are needed!

You don’t need to send it for repairs! For the HP Envy x360, you can easily download the camera driver directly from the HP support site. Just grab the chipset and camera drivers, install them manually, and you should be good to go. If the camera still isn't showing up in Device Manager afterward, do a Windows Update to check for optional drivers—it often ends up recognizing the hardware again.
