Hey everyone, I'm having some trouble removing my RTX 5070 from the PCIe slot. I've taken out all the screws and unplugged the cables, but it feels like something else is holding it in place on the left side. Has anyone else faced this issue or have any tips on what might be causing it?

Have you checked if the PCIe lock is pressed down? Sometimes, the GPU can get stuck if that latch is still engaged. Just make sure everything's released before trying to pull it out.

Thanks for the tip! I pressed it down while I was trying to remove it, so that shouldn't be the issue. Just trying to figure out what's keeping it stuck.

It’s possible that the plate where the screws go can get lodged under the screw directly below it, especially with thumb screws. That can prevent the GPU from coming out easily. If you can, check that area out.

You were right! I ended up having to remove a PCIe cover that was blocking my GPU. I didn't realize it was there because I bought a prebuilt and I'm not very experienced. Now it's all working great, thanks for your help!
