I'm dealing with a frustrating situation. I've been deploying Windows 11 through Intune, and for the most part, it's been smooth sailing. However, I recently tried upgrading an old desktop that hadn't been used for a year, and the Windows 11 update failed twice, reverting it back to Windows 10. Now I'm trying to get the update back, and it seems to have disappeared. I've updated the BIOS and attempted several fixes, like rebooting, using different accounts, resetting Windows Update, disabling safeguards for Feature Updates, and even removing and rejoining Intune/Entra. Despite all that, I can't get the update to show up again. Can anyone help me figure out what I'm missing?

First off, check if your device is technically compatible with Windows 11. I've had a similar issue where the update prompt disappeared after a failed install; turns out, the device lacked a TPM, which I wasn't aware of until I ran a health check.
If compatibility isn't the issue, you might want to delve into the registry. Sometimes, the Windows 11 upgrade can get blocked for various reasons. There’s a guide that explains how to check any upgrade indicators that might be stopping your installation. But if you see entries for "GatedBlock..." with the data listed as 'none', it shouldn't be blocked on that front.
