How to Run RDP in a Custom Window Size But Keep Full-Screen Keyboard Shortcuts?

I'm currently using the Microsoft Remote Desktop Client (mstsc) on my Lenovo Legion PRO 34WD-10, which has a resolution of 3440x1440. I'm trying to figure out how to run an RDP session where I can pass through all keyboard shortcuts (like Alt+Tab and the Windows key) to the remote machine, just like in full-screen mode. However, I don't want the RDP window to take up the entire screen. Ideally, I'd like a borderless window set at a custom resolution, such as 2560x1080, centered on my display, but still having the keyboard behave as if it were full-screen. I've noticed that the RDP client tends to forward system shortcuts only when in full-screen mode, forcing it to cover the whole screen. Are there any settings, tweaks, or alternative clients that can help me achieve this hybrid setup?

You might want to give mRemoteNG a try! It does exactly what you're looking for. I've been using it for years and it allows you to manage multiple RDP sessions all in one place. Just remember to enable Key combinations under Redirections in the RDP configuration for it to work properly.

I checked the downloads page but it seems to be down. Do you know any alternatives?
