I'm trying to test some old RAM, but the GPU power cable is getting in the way. I've unplugged it many times before, but today it just won't budge. My dad was the last one to handle it, so I'm not sure if he messed something up. I've attached a picture of the cable. Can anyone help me out with which part of the lever or pin I should be pressing down on? Am I supposed to push it down or slightly forward? Please give me detailed instructions; I really want to avoid breaking anything since the cable fits tightly and is almost too short to reach my system.

Try giving it a little wiggle while you pull it out. Sometimes that extra bit of movement helps break the grip if it’s stuck. Just be gentle to avoid any damage!
If all else fails, you could try pulling straight out while pushing the clasp down gently. Just make sure to keep an eye on where you’re applying pressure!
You might find this short video helpful. It shows how to safely unplug those cables: [link to video]. Hope this helps!
Thank you! I’ll definitely check that out.

I can confirm this works! Just did it and it popped out easily.
