I recently got a Samsung Odyssey G55C monitor that supports up to 165Hz, but it's only displaying at 60Hz. I've gone into the settings and checked the advanced display options, but I don't see the 165Hz option. Any ideas on how I can switch it to 165Hz?

To change the refresh rate, try right-clicking on your desktop and going to 'Display settings'. From there, head to 'Advanced display settings' and see if you can set it to 165Hz from the refresh rate dropdown.
Make sure you're using a compatible cable, too! If you're using HDMI, it might not support 165Hz. It's better to connect via DisplayPort to ensure you get that refresh rate.
Sometimes monitors need to be set to the higher refresh rate directly on the monitor itself. Look for a menu on your monitor and navigate through the settings to enable 165Hz display.
If the refresh rate setting isn’t showing, ensure your graphics card drivers are updated. Also, check if your GPU settings (like in Radeon Software) allow you to select higher refresh rates. Sometimes monitors also need an overclock setting enabled for higher rates.
