Hey everyone! I just got my Anyazhineng body cam model Z2, but I'm struggling to set the correct date and time. There were no instructions included in the package, and I can't find a way to contact customer service. As a crossing guard, having the right timestamps is really important for me. Can anyone help me figure this out?

Sounds like you might have bought a knockoff brand, and that's always a gamble with customer support! But hey, don’t let that discourage you. If your body cam works anything like other budget options, try looking for a batch file on the camera itself or the micro SD card that could help set the time automatically. Look for something named like 'Time set.bat'; if you find it, running that should do the trick! If not, just check for any file named 'Settings' or similar—it might have what you need.
You're on the right track! Many of these cheap cams store setup info on the SD card. Make sure to plug it into your computer and see if there's an instruction file. You might even find step-by-step guidance for setting the date and time there. Plus, if you decide to grab a different model in the future, I highly recommend the Boblov mini body cams—great support and under $100!
Just to add, if you see any settings on the camera itself, be sure to save a backup of any settings file you edit. That way, if something doesn’t work out, you can restore it. And definitely check that SD card—it could save you a lot of hassle!
