I'm looking for a way to manage different profiles for my Logitech G502 mouse on Linux Mint. On Windows, I could easily switch profiles for different programs or games using the Logitech software, but I'm hoping to find a similar solution for Linux. I've tried using Piper, but it doesn't support profiling, and I really don't want to rely on the onboard memory since it only allows for three profiles. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately, there isn't a straightforward way to automatically switch mouse profiles on Linux like you can on Windows. I used to have similar frustrations with the Logitech software messing things up. But you might want to give Input Remapper a try. It lets you create profiles for individual games, although it won’t switch them automatically upon game launch. I've had decent results with it for the few games I play that don’t have great in-game setup options.
Yeah, that's a bummer! I find in-game setups also troublesome because you can’t really customize your keybinds for everyday tasks like copy and paste.
