Hey folks! I'm dealing with a pretty annoying situation where my brother-in-law is trolling me by triggering a random timer that opens Google Chrome and plays the He-Man song, 'What's Goin On.' It happens randomly—sometimes days or weeks apart. I know he's just messing with me, but I'd love to figure out how he's doing it so I can confront him with a fix. I have some technical knowledge but I'm not a programmer. Any ideas on where to look or how this might be set up? Is it related to a script or something in the registry? Thanks in advance!

I get that waiting for it to trigger is a pain, but if it happens again, keep an eye on the Task Manager to see if anything pops up right before Chrome opens. It’s possible there’s a script running, but it may close quickly after launching Chrome.
First off, I recommend checking the Task Scheduler on your computer. That's often where scripts and scheduled tasks are set up to run at specific times. You might find the trigger for the Chrome pop-up there.
