I'm really frustrated with Windows 11 right now. My Logitech G920 racing wheel is having a scrolling issue, and the problem stems from Windows automatically installing its own drivers (the "G920 Driving Force Racing Wheel for Xbox One"). Whenever I uninstall these drivers and reconnect the wheel to a different USB port, the Logitech software recognizes it and everything works great. But as soon as I reboot my PC, those pesky Windows drivers come right back and the issues start again. I've tried disabling automatic driver installation through the advanced system settings, but nothing seems to work. Does anyone have a solution for this? I could really use some help!

You could try using a tool like wushow to stop specific updates from coming through. It might give you some control over what gets installed.
I totally get your frustration! Have you tried manually installing the Logitech drivers instead? This might help to keep Windows from replacing them with its own. Sometimes if it detects a specific driver, it might stop auto-installing the generic one.
That's what I was thinking too! But the problem is, even when I install the Logitech drivers, Windows still tries to take over with its version.
I've heard that disabling Windows updates could solve this issue, but I'm not entirely sure. Maybe you can give it a shot as a last resort.
Not the answer you were looking for, but I say consider switching to Linux! Or, if that's not an option, you might just have to deal with uninstalling those drivers every time. It's a hassle for sure!
Interesting! I’ll look into that, thanks!
