How to Switch Phone Notifications on My MacBook?

I recently upgraded to the new iPhone 17 Pro Max from my old 13 Pro Max. My MacBook is still showing notifications from the old phone, and I'm trying to figure out how to switch it over to receive notifications from the new phone instead. When I check the settings, I only see an option to turn off notifications for the old phone, but I want to update it to the new one. Any advice on how to do this?

It's quite simple! Just make sure your new iPhone is connected to the same Apple ID as your MacBook. You might need to remove the old phone's notifications from the Mac settings first. Go into your Mac's 'Notifications' settings, turn off notifications for the old phone, then restart your Mac. After that, connect the new iPhone, and the notifications should start showing up automatically.

To switch your notifications to your new iPhone, you might need to reset your notification settings on your MacBook. Here's what you can do: first, ensure that your new iPhone is paired with your Mac using the same Apple ID. Then, on your Mac, go to 'System Preferences,' select 'Notifications,' and make sure your new phone is selected. You may also want to disable the old notifications completely before re-enabling the new ones to get everything in sync.
